Salman is the founder of Lutfi & Co and the local Emirati principal. Educated at Al Shams Law School in Egypt and trained in England, Salman was admitted as a lawyer in the UAE in 1982.
Salman founded Lutfi & Co in 1982, making it one of the longest established and most reputable law firms in the UAE, with offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
As one of the UAE's most experienced court advocates, Salman has conducted many of the UAE's highest profile litigation matters. Salman is experienced in all types of cases and has appeared before all UAE courts representing large and small corporations and individuals.

Malek is a senior counsel at Lutfi and Co. Malek graduated in law from Damascus University in the year 1966 and has been with Lutfi & Co since 2001. He has practiced before all levels of courts in Syria before moving to the UAE in 1984 and has right of audience before the Dubai Courts.
Malek is considered by his peers’ one of the best litigators in Dubai and the UAE and has been successfully involved in several high profile commercial and civil litigations and arbitrations in the UAE and Syria.

Mr. Sallan was born in 1978 In Damascus, Syria. He pursued his legal studies at Damascus University Law Faculty and graduated in 2001 following this, he started working for the Courts of Damascus as a Legal Secretary and later on as in 2001 after his graduation, he relocated to Dubai and joined Lutfi and Co. as a legal assistant, later on progressing to become associate at the company.

In 2014, David joined Lutfi & Co. as a Junior Legal Consultant. He handles mostly commercial matters and working with the senior advocates of the firm, he has also involved in arbitration disputes representing international clients. Prior to joining Lutfi & Co. David spent years working in a law firm who handles mostly civil, criminal and labor cases in the Philippines. He then joined a company where he was assigned to be part of a legal team in the shipping department and focused in legal compliance, safety manual and other commercial and corporate aspects in the company. He subsequently became part of the company’s aviation department legal team. David was part of the legal department for the shipping and aviation.
